The Women's Society of Washington University is a not-for-profit group of over 600 volunteers and professional women. Founded in March, 1965, we work to engage women in the life of the University through education, scholarships, student projects, and leadership and to provide services for students on campus which would not otherwise be possible.

Bear Necessities is a non-profit shop sponsored by the Women's Society of Washington University. All proceeds from Bear Necessities sustain full-tuition scholarships we grant each year and the wide array of community service, leadership, and fine arts programs we support on campus.
