Five times during the academic year, the Women’s Society sponsors a lecture by a distinguished Washington University professor on a current topic of interest to members and guests. These lectures are preceded by an informal reception and are free to members of the Women’s Society and their guests.

Recent speakers have included professors from the fields of: art history and archaeology, education, Islamic thought, law, medicine, music, political science, psychology, romance languages and literatures, social work, and women’s studies. Parking — reservations for all WSWU lectures include free parking.
